Dr. Nykwest's Credentials

My Story, Background, Education & Experience

I am a second generation chiropractor, born & raised in New Rochelle NY. My father, Irving Nykwest DC, instilled in me that the foundation stones of  health are diet, exercise, and the proper functioning of the spine and nervous  system. I graduated with my Bachelors in Human Biology and my Doctorate in  Chiropractic from the National College of Chiropractic in 1979, at the age of  23. I have worked in private practice, taught for colleges, held multiple political  offices within my profession, and am currently serving as the President of the Westchester County district of the New York State Chiropractic Association. I have been employed managing patient care within  multiple insurance companies. I believe that through these roles that I have  seen patient care from all sides as few other doctors have, and that these  experiences have made me a better doctor for you.

My practice philosophy today reflects my upbringing, my education, and over 40 years of experience sorting out what really works best from the confusion  of "never did work" traditional treatments and "never will work" new treatment  marketing hype. You can rely on me for your correct diagnosis, honest  recommendations, and effective treatment.
Sincerely,Glen Nykwest DC, DABCO
